He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Elder and Ruth Elder (Kline). He is survived by: his wife Debra Elder (Corbo); his children, Christopher Elder, Jennifer Wasukanis (Kevin) and Joseph Elder; his grandchildren, Aubrielle, Cameron and Cooper Wasukanis; his siblings, Janice Bradley and Walter Elder; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Corbo and Patrick Bradley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Santella Funeral Home (1106 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Mount Carmel Catholic Church (Calvary Cemetery) (806 11th St, Altoona, PA 16602). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery (2417 Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602).
