He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd C. Whetstine and Betty I. Whetstine (Gassenhoover); his son Daniel Aaron Whetstine; and his brother Richard A. Whetstine. He is survived by: his wife Vera J. Black; his daughters, Angela L. Stich (Frank Singley) of Boalsburg and Julie A. Whetstine of Altoona; his grandchildren, Madelyn Watt, Eliot Stich and Alayna Price; and his sister Joan L. Skelley (Ted) of Altoona.
