As Charles departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edward and Judith Jane Endress (Hyle); and his siblings, Nancy Lattieri, Judith Layton, Donna Schneider, Carole Forney and Albert "Butch" Endress.
He is survived by: his children, Shaun Endress (Cheryl), Sharon Decatur (Tony) and Nicole Benton (Jared).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Chuck's honor to the Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
