He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Ebersole and Bernice Rose (Swartz); and his stepfather Chester D. Rose. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Westover; his children, Tracy Hoffman (Doug), Jason Ebersole (Amy), William Ebersole (Rebecca) and Thad Ebersole (Beth); his grandchildren, Chelsea McDonald (Chooch), Cody Hoffman, Haley Ebersole, Carly Ebersole, Charley Hoffman, Connor Ebersole, Zachary Ebersole, Nathan Ebersole, Brayden Ebersole, Benjamin Ebersole, Abbey Ebersole and Madeleine Ebersole; his siblings, Margaret "Peg" Ebersole and John Ebersole (Janice); his stepbrothers, David Rose (Cathy), Chester J. Rose (Faye) and Norman Hatfield (Charlotte); and his pets, Cupcake, Emmett and Larry.
