She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Earl and Margaret Jane Eckard (Ott); her brother Ed Eckard; and the father of her children Alfred Tyler Canaan. She is survived by: her children, Jeanraymar Canaan of Altoona, Darrin Canaan (Jennifer) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Kasema Canaan of Altoona; her stepson Aaron Johnson (Anita) of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Tyre, Aunyah, Daron, Kelsey, Amya, Danasha, Arianna, Emanuel, Dayana and Rajon; her great grandchildren, Kaysen, Karter, Keegan, Jakari and Thea; and her siblings, Tom Eckard (Cathy), Jimmy Eckard, Leon Eckard, Margaret Sprankle and Grace Crossing. She is also survived by her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
