She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Hoefler and Dora Hoefler (Dougherty); her husband Orville N. Caldwell; her daughter Patricia A. Caldwell; and her siblings, Rita Sarnese, Gerald, Charles and William Hoefler.
She is survived by: her children, Gary A. Caldwell and Suzanne E. Caldwell of Altoona; her nephew Bill Sarnese (Rosanne); her cousin Arlene Taylor of Enola; and her close friends, Florence Eckenrode, Penny, William Murphy, Bonnie Wagner, Joy Ollinger, Mariam Stitt and Jo-Ann Semko. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (344 Baynton Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers or other memorials, anyone wishing to can send Mass intentions to St. John the Evangelist Church or St. Mark's Catholic Church.
