With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean (Rickard) Diehl of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Barbara has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John K. Rickard and Anna M. Rickard (Ream). She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Diehl; her siblings, Shermanna Robinson (George) of Buffalo, N. Y., John K. Rickard (Ellen) of Rochester Mills and Georgeanna Claar of Ellicott City; and her stepfather George W. Troxell.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Funeral Home, Inc. (108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona, PA 16601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
