In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Barbara had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Barbara may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hazenstab and Martha Hazenstab (Yeatts). She is survived by: her husband David P. Barr; her sons, Matthew L Barr (Kristin) of Lewisburg and James T. Barr of Pittsburgh; and her grandchildren, Brennen, Brock and Beatrix.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (2309 Broad Ave, Altoona, PA 16601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
