It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Jean Young (Altoona, Pennsylvania), born in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Slippey and Gladys A. Slippey (Focht); her husband Donald R. Young; her brother George C. Slippey; and her brothers-in-law, Fay Diehl and Ken Young.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Wayne Young (Randy) of Bridgeville and Cheryl Ann Hileman (Stephen) of Altoona; her grandsons, Brian, Chad Young, Travis and Aaron Hileman; her great grandchildren, Meagan, Macie, Maximus Young and Ryann Hileman; her sister Margie Diehl of Greenwood; and her sister-in-law Y. Jean Young. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
