With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Metzner of Allison, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Talbert and Esther Ruth Gibson Talbert; her daughter Rebecca Hammond; and her siblings, Lorainne Mazzacco, Nelson Talbert and James Talbert.
She is survived by: her husband Oliver Harris Metzner; her children, Melanie Bynum (Dale) of Texas, Carl Oliver Metzner (Nancy) of Michigan, Naomi Ruth Arp (Terry) of Ohio and Scott Thomas Metzner (Renee) of Michigan; her grandchildren, William, Louis, Emalee, Katie, Jaclyn, Nicholas, Brandi and Carrie; her great grandchildren, June, Junior, Autumn, Damien, Ryan, Ashley, Charlotte, Josephine and Gavin; and her brother Calvin Talbert of Allison. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
PA COVID-19 restrictions will be followed including the wearing of face masks and social distancing.
