He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Amatangelo and Margaret Carozza Amatangelo; and his siblings, Katherine Brown, Alfred Amatangelo and Josephine De Sua.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Malloy Amatangelo; his daughters, Julie Amatangelo and Gina Amatangelo (Daniel Lopez); his granddaughters, Zoe and Ada Lopez; his niece Tina Brown; and his nephew Ron Brown (Katie). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, and two great great nephews.
