It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Schmitzer (Allison Park, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 15, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Stiehler and Mary Belle Martin Stiehler (Davies); her husband Walter R. Schmitzer Jr.; and her siblings, William, Edward, Paul, John Stiehler and June O'Neill.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ellen Mason, Charles and Edward Schmitzer; her grandchildren, Christopher, Oliver, Adeline Mason, Kaitlin, Colton, Mason Marts, Amanda, Ella Zubi, Evan, Renee and Marie Schmitzer; and her stepgrandchildren, Matthew and Maggie Gibson.
