He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Jans and Margaret Jans. He is survived by: his wife Mildred I. Rudick; his children, Frank Jans (Elaine) of Pittsburgh and Dolores "Dee" Lowery (Jeff) of Altoona; his grandchildren, Leah Weiss (Max) of Pittsburgh, Evan Jans (Sydney) of Pittsburgh and Kara of Pittsburgh; his great grandchild Charlotte Weiss; and also Frank. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
