She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Higgins and Madonna Higgins (Dunham); and her brother Bobby Higgins. She is survived by: her husband Vincent Ciganik, Jr.; her children, Vincent "Ty" Ciganik (Leighanne), Kari Stierer (Ray) and Jason Ciganik (Sherry); and her grandchildren, Christine, Emily, Matthew, Sarah, Julie, Raymond, Jacob and Shane. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
