She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard E. Shaffer and Waneta M. Shaffer (Harrison); and her son-in-law Jason A. George. She is survived by: her husband Richard L. VanHorn; her children, Michael VanHorn (Karen) of Allenwood, Dean VanHorn (Christine) of Allenwood and Tammy George of Allenwood; her grandchildren, Lucas VanHorn, Jennifer Litzelman, Christopher Litzelman (Caitlin) and Shenai Haladay (Josh); her sister Connie Tryanski (Tony) of Philadelphia; and her close friend Nancy Gottschall. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
