He is survived by: his spouse Pham Thi Nguyen (Nguyen); his children, Phung Thi Nguyen, Hoa Thanh Nguyen, Hiep Thanh Nguyen, Hung Thanh Nguyen, Thuy Nguyen, Mai Thi Nguyen and Sang Thanh Nguyen; and his sister Nhan Thi Nguyen. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren; and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
