She was predeceased by: her husband James C. "Jim" Balliet; her parents, Edwin Shaffer and Emma Shaffer (Steigerwalt); and her siblings, Bertha Grube, Stanley Shaffer, Edwin Shaffer, Roy Shaffer and Wilmer Shaffer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly (David Smith) and Lisa; her father-in-law Robert Walker; her son Christopher Balliet (Jennifer); her pet Ginger; and her siblings, Elizabeth Kiefer, Nancy Onusko, Mildred Laudenslager and Clayton Shaffer.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Inc. (1601 Hamilton St, Allentown, PA 18102). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burkholder Funeral Home (1601 Hamilton St, Allentown, PA 18102).
