He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore S. Herman Sr. and Helen Herman (Felo); and his siblings, Wilhelmina Herman, Anthony and Micheal Herman.
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew S. Herman (Danielle) of Breinigsville, PA. and Trevor S. Herman (Jamie Wickemeyer) of Bethlehem, PA.; his grandchildren, Kayla, Amiya, Amelia Herman, Ava Wickemeyer and Danny Wickemeyer; and his sister Theone Davis of Allentown, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Ted then went on to work for the Penn Foundation, as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for 25 years.
