She was predeceased by: her parents, Llewellyn F. Kern and Maude A. Kern (Heintzelman); and her spouse Carmen Trenge. She is survived by: her stepson Richard G. Trenge. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Memorial Park (1700 Airport Rd, Allentown, PA 18109).
