It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of RuthAnn Scherer of Allentown, Pennsylvania, born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lowell T. Scherer; her parents, Gordon B. Henry and Esther B. Henry (Schleicher); her son Jeffrey R. Scherer; her brother Robert K. Henry; and her grandson Joseph Scherer.
She is survived by: her children, J. Scott Scherer (Theodora Lazou) of Whitehall and Lori A. Pfeiffer (Keith) of Allentown; her daughter-in-law Dee Dee Scherer of Allentown; and her grandsons, Jonathan, Matthew, Brent and Michael.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. (4906 PA-309, Schnecksville, PA 18078). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
