He is survived by: his children, Roosevelt Overton Jr., Dedric Overton, Corey Overton, LaShanna Overton, Coretta Huntt, Deborah Garrett and Dexter Garrett; his brothers, Percy Scullark and Michael O'Garra; his cousin Bill Johnson; his uncle Elijah Weathers; and also Theodore Huntt. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
