He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Palmer, and James Palmer, Sr.; and also James Palmer, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Doretha Palmer; his children, Shanise Palmer, Michael Palmer and Anthony Palmer; his grandchildren, Jayden Ronnie Palmer and Jeremiah Palmer; and his siblings, Clarice Brown, Ernest Palmer (Rita), Sandra Alderman, Charles Palmer (Mary), Leon Palmer (Michelle), Gregory Vincent and Donya Green. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
