She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Milton S Sheftel; her children, Bruce H of Allentown, Hildie K of Seattle, WA and Abbie A Turner (Sheftel) of Travelers Rest, SC.; her parents, Jack Lobell and Hilda Lobell; and her siblings, Jean Lobell Pincus and Melvin Lobell.
Beginning with Milton's business trips to Europe in the early 1950's, she added after her 90th birthday, trips to Santa Fe, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, St Louis, Denver, Bozeman, Lake Canandaigua, all of Ireland, Galapagos, India and planned to add a Greek Island cruise featuring lectures with her favorite NYT columnist, Bret Stephens, before the COVID-19 shut down travel.
