He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Oswald and Pearl Oswald (Hilbert). He is survived by: his wife Karin E. Oswald (Marquardt); his children, Patrick (Jessica) of Louisville, KY and Matina Rabert of Wescosville; his brothers, Richard (Joan) of New Tripoli and Barry (Margaret) of Lehighton; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, Cameron and Grace.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Memorial Park (1700 Airport Rd, Allentown, PA 18109).
