Richard G.F. Schimmel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard G. F. Schimmel of Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 3, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Yolanda L. Schimmel (Cocca); his parents, John Schimmel and Florence Schimmel (Schneck); and his grandson Anthony M. Schimmel. He is survived by: his sons, Richard M. Schimmel (Judith) and Terence A. Schimmel (Rosemary B. Wetherhold); his grandchildren, Ryan Schimmel (Jennifer), Jill Sopa (Dren), Mark Schimmel and Jennifer Schimmel; and his great grandchildren, Evan, Matthew, Drew Schimmel and Dardan Sopa.
