He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Schafer and Millie Schafer (Handschue) of Allentown, PA.; his wife Marion; and his great grandchild Jazzy. He is survived by: his children, Vickie Leibensperger, Scott (Maryann) and Mark Schafer (Elizabeth). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren (all from Arizona) and two sisters as well as family and friends.
A committal service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix (23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Christian Harvest Church (1201 N Ulster St, Allentown, PA 18109).
