It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mike Hunsberger of Allentown, Pennsylvania, born in Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 52, on December 8, 2024. Though Mike may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mike touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his parents, Neal Hunsberger and Carol Hunsberger (Pfeiffer) of Perkiomenville; his sister Joanne Koons of Royersford; and his nieces, Brianna Berry and Leah Koons.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (163 Main St, Pennsburg, PA 18073). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in memory of Michael Hunsberger to the Family Teacher Organization and sent to 851 N. 15th Street, Allentown, Pa 18102.

“It is with great sadness to hear of Mike's passing. I first met Mike at the beginning of freshman year at Bloomsburg University, and together we joined the college Rugby Club that first semester. Four years later, with lots of good times, bruises and one Rugby State Championship, we graduated together. We remained friends -- brothers, really -- for years to come. Mike was an incredible person who made an undeniable impression on all who met him, and the best friend anyone could have. RIP.”
