She was predeceased by: her husband Randolph Schaffer; and her parents, Charles Mertz and Etheleine Mertz (Fritz). She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Schrettner (David), Randolph C. Schaffer (Lilian) and David B. Schaffer (Jennifer). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
