He is survived by: his wife Gail I. Ruth; his children, Michael Ruth (Heather) of Rocklin, Scott Ruth (Angela) of Hanover and Gina Gordon (Perry) of Bath; and his sister Jane Smith. He is also survived by five grandsons, one granddaughter, one great granddaughter.
