He is survived by: his close friend Maria Suncar; his children, Jessica Rodriguez, Aimee Almonte, Priscilla Acosta, Lenin Suncar and Jose Velez; his grandchildren, Joseph Ortiz, Gregory Suncar, Jathalie Almonte, Arnez, Avery Acosta and Naseem Humphrey; and his great grandchildren, Samaya Torres and Ja'Nyla Ortiz.
