He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fixl and Mary Fixl (Astl); his sisters, Marie Sechler and Anna Salvator; and his son-in-law Patrick Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Hughes); his daughters, Christine Alvarez (Luis), Amy Jenkins and Mimi Murphy (Thomas); his grandchildren, Connor, John Luis, Michael, Christopher, Jack, Morghan, Sean, George and Dylan; and his nieces, Barbara Scarlato and Helen Lentz.
