She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Aylor and Ruth Aylor (Stever); her sister JoAnn Aylor Hanner (Jody); and her stepchildren, Jay Fretz and Dana Fretz Friz.
She is survived by: her husband Glenn E. Fretz; her children, James Scandola of Houston, John Scandola (Cassidy) of Seattle, WA, JoAnn Scandola (Joni) of Silver Spring, MD, Julie Scandola (Douglas Proctor) of Stuarts Draft, VA and Meredith Fretz Merino (Stephen) of Media, PA; her stepdaughter Gwen Fretz Reed (Calvin) of Buckeye, AZ; and her former husband Vernon Scandola. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
