He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Balliet and Mellasena Balliet (Heckman). He is survived by: his spouse Virginia A. Balliet (Shaffer); his children, Christopher J. Balliet, Kimberly Ann Smith and Lisa M. Walker; his sister Judith Malek; his grandson Michael S. VanWhy; and his significant other Halle. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
