She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Imro and Helen Franko Yakubisin; her husband Philip Leon Birk; and her siblings, Mary Rolis Yakubisin (Marie) and Andrew James Yakubisin (Andy).

She is survived by: her son Philip Reed; her daughter-in-law Sharon Williams Birk; and her grandchildren, Philip Lee Birk and Katherine Anna Birk.
