He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald E. Mitchell, Sr. and Dorothy Mitchell (Shanaman). He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Mitchell Kunkel (Harley Kunkel III); his wife Jan Mitchell (Bortz) of Allentown; his grandson Harley M. Kunkel; his sister Lynn Ann Shumaker (Mitchell) of Sun City, AZ; and his brother-in-law David Bortz (Fran) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
