It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Chakef of Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Chakef and Jemealie Chakef; and his sisters, Rowayda and Najah. He is survived by: his wife Waffa Chakef of Allentown; his children, Elias Chakef (Emma) of Whitehall, Roua (Tony Ohanian) of Bethlehem and Rawad Chakef of Allentown; his siblings, Monzer, Nabil, Marwan and Sue; and his grandchildren, George, Noah, Briella and Lyanna.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church (1011 Catasauqua Rd, Allentown, PA 18102). Viewing was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
