He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Ritter and Hattie Ritter (Wagner); and his brother Carl Ritter. He is survived by : his wife Elaine W. Ritter (Kressley); his sons, Michael F. Ritter (Patricia) of Clarksville, TN, Terry D. Ritter (Kim) of Bethlehem and Randy S. Ritter (Carol) of Morgantown, PA; his brother Martin Ritter (Rosanne) of Greenawald's; and his grandchildren, Paul, Sam, Danica, Darrien, Ian and Jaylynn. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Weisenberg Lutheran Church (7645 Weisenberg Church Rd, New Tripoli, PA 18066). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
