He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jane Schlegel (Horner); and his parents, Roy N. Schlegel and Rosa O. Schlegel (Abel). He is survived by: his children, Bruce D. (Jane) of Breinigsville, Gary E. (Virginia) of Catasauqua, Annette Young (Kenneth) of Coopersburg and Linda Dunn (Shaun) of Catasauqua; his sister Elizabeth (late Martin Landau); his stepgrandchildren, Stephen Levene (Michelle) and Stephanie Little (Robert); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Crystal, Dakota, Morgan Levene, Kayla and Ashley Little.
