With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy B. Marks-Newberry of Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony G. and Mary R. Friend (Cherney); her husband Paul Marks; and her nephews, George Fraind, Jr. and Dennis Friend.
She is survived by: her spouse D. E. Newberry, Jr. (Bob); her siblings, George, Robert, Charles, Paul, Marie and Theresa; her stepson Donald Newberry (Krystyna); her stepgrandson Zachary; her stepson Robert Marks (Jill); her stepgrandsons, Nathaniel and Gordon; her stepdaughter Brenda Marks Fuller (Don Fuller); her stepgrandson Jason; her nieces and nephews, Charles Friend Jr., John Pruzinsky, Thomas Pruzinsky, Michael Pruzinsky, Nancy Geletkanych and Constance Purcell; her goddaughter Kathleen Reither; and her brother-in-law John Pruzinsky, Sr..
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Keller Funeral Home (1018 Church St, Fogelsville, PA 18051). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. John the Baptist Slovak Church (924 N Front St, Allentown, PA 18102).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Dorothy's name to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or the Glioblastoma Foundation, Inc., care of the Funeral Home, PO Box 52, Fogelsville, 18051.
