He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Michael (Jacqueline Turck) and William (Helen Watzka). He is survived by: his parents, Frank Watzka of Kinston and Patricia Sanchez (Turck); his spouse Edwin Sanchez of New Paltz; his children, Brittnay Watzka (Shane Russell) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Brandon Watzka of Lansford and Damian Watzka (Danelle Kite) of New Philadelphia; the mother of his children Belinda Long of Lansford; his stepdaughters, Jullia Elletson-Oaks (Matthew Oaks) of Salt Point, NY and Monica Elletson of Poughkeepsie; his grandchildren, Chace and Olivia Russell; his stepgrandchildren, Conor and Elliot Oaks; his brothers, Michael Watzka, Nicholas (Suzanne Watzka) and Edwin (Kimberly Sanchez); his aunt Susan Effner; and his uncle Gene (Rungsi Turck).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home (500 E Broad St, Tamaqua, PA 18252). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
