He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. VanHorn and Edna K. VanHorn (Stumpf); his son Craig VanHorn; and his sisters, Ruth Herbster, Lois Funderburk and June Slingluff.
He is survived by: his wife Carol E. VanHorn (Laudenslager); his children, Robert VanHorn (Donna), John VanHorn (Sheila), Michael VanHorn (Ronda) and Kimberly Weldin (Brian); and his sisters, Joyce McNamara (Cletus) and Sandra Cooney.
