She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos M Lopez; her parents, Ascisclo Rivera and Josefina Bolaños Rivera; and her children, Delmy Linares and Ronald Lopez.

She is survived by: her children, Ruth Gochez, Francisco (Patricia Rivera), Eduardo Rivera and Berta Leon (Eswin Anzueto); her stepson Guillermo Francia; her son-in-law Luis Linares; and her grandchildren, Jackeline Legros, Brian Lopez, Berta Garcia, Marina Rivera, Hector Linares, Jasmine Leon, Marelin Rivera, Christian Anzueto, Kayla and Karla Rivera. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
