She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Arthur T. Claffee and Mildred S. Claffee (Shoemaker); and her brother Richard Claffee. She is survived by: her children, Lauren J. (Sean Will) of Allentown and Peter Schumacher (Paige) of Midlothian, VA; and her grandchildren, Morgan, Sarah Will, Katie, Jake and Matthew Schumacher.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the ALS Association or to Animals in Distress.
