With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Awatef Atiyeh (Allentown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Aziz Atiyeh; her parents, Anis Raad and Afifi Raad (Haddad); her grandsons, Daniel and Christopher Attieh; her son-in-law Salim Kassis; and her brother-in-law Eli Jacob.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Sanaa) of Amar, Syria, Omar (Lina) of Weston, Victor (Elaine) of Gresham, Oregon, Ghada Kassis of Bethlehem, Hweida Attieh (Albert) of Whitehall and Aida Hadeed (Romeo) of Whitehall; and her siblings, Munir Raad (Najwa) of Amar, Syria, Atef Raad (Carol) of Freeport, Munira Jacob of Allentown and Genevieve Haddad (Fouad) of North Whitehall. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
