She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence W. Shelly; her parents, LaMonte B. Newhard and Helen Mae Newhard (Rohrbach); and her brothers, Richard J. Newhard and Robert W. Newhard.

She is survived by: her sons, Brian L. Shelly (Renee L.) of Emmaus and Eric L. Shelly (Lori S.) of Coopersburg.
