He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Linda Jenkins and George Jenkins; his fiancée Andrea Buckno; his siblings, Jason (Renee Benner) and Laurie Smith (Michael); and his nieces, Bailey Bourgeois, Quinn Jenkins, Lola Smith and Newfoundland.

“Andy was such a good person. Having coached with him for 12 years, he taught me a lot about wrestling, but more importantly, he taught me how to help people. Andy would go out of his way to help anyone if he thought it would brighten that person’s day. He’d even send the occasional gift via office mail just because he thought I’d like it. Just a genuinely good guy, which is hard to find today. I’m going to miss seeing him and hearing him call me coach, even though he was always the one teaching.”
