“I met Amie some 20 years ago when ESOL and World Language were a big happy family. We belong to a group of Allen friends who meet often for a meal and fellowship. I often contact our friends and make the reservation for dinner, but most often only after Amie reminds me that I’m slacking and need to plan a dinner. I promise, my friend, that I will plan one soon, and that not a gathering will go by that you are not the center of a conversation among your friends. I will miss you always.”
