He is survived by: his children, Hazel Beth Stahl, Thomas Kavounas, Kristen Lynn Kavounas (Cumano) and Corrine Kavounas; and his brothers, Nicholas A. Kavounas (Cathy) and Thomas E. Kavounas (Joyce).

Services: Due to COVID restrictions, there will be a memorial service at a later date.
