He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kalamaras and Eleftheria Kalamaras (Steros); his brother Peter Kalamaras; and his brothers-in-law, Theodore Mermigas and James Callas.

He is survived by: his wife Marnie Benedetti; his sons, Daniel Kalamaras and Marc Kalamaras (Denise); his grandchildren, Nathan, Jenna and Joslyn Kalamaras; his sisters, Mary Mermigas and Georgina Callas; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Kalamaras.
