He was predeceased by: his parent McClellen Steele; and his siblings, Ralph, Harry, Theda, Fay and Lola.
He is survived by: his parent Mary Steele; his wife Sally A. Steele (Deemer) of Kiski Township; his children, Zane Steele, Jr. (Glory) of Kiski Township, Daniel Steele (Vivian) of Elderton, Mark Steele (Cindy) of Elderton and Tammy Seddon (Kirk) of Kiski Township; and his sisters, Edna Baustert of North Carolina, Jean Beard (Shelby) of Georgia and Joan Winger (Jim) of Maryland. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
